Joe C ko in the 4th. Jones was a quitter and couldnt take it when the fight was brought to him. Ever analyst even said that Jones had never fought someone as fast as Joe and thats an absolute fact. In Joe's prime he would have been hitting harder and with a little more speed. Again, no one ever feared Jones' power. What basis are you saying he Ko's Calzaghe at the weight class he is the greatest of all time. Name one 168 with even 1/2 as good of a resume than Joe. Joe never was Ko'ed and never took more than a second to get up. How do you know how hard it takes to bring him down. How about the fact that Joe wasnt even knocked down until he was the same age Ali was when Chuck Wepner knocked him down. Chuck Wepner. Joe C is better than Griffin and Griffin proved that speed and will could beat Jones. JOnes also hated being hit, and no matter what Joe was going to hit him.

Joe is the exact opposite of what Jones looked for in an opponent. He never quit, never gave up, threw thousands of punches, never tired, and was very elusive. Not only that, but he had a great chin. How can anyone say Joe gets Ko'ed by Jones who never KO'ed anyone even remotely good...prime or no prime. I would take Joe KO'ing Veit over anyone Jones ever Ko'ed.

Joe never got beat. He has no weakness other than if the opponent chose not to box and just clinch, headbutt and fake low blows...then, if he was fighting in that opponents country, with that opponents judges, and with that opponent being a bigger name, having more money behind him, etc...he would only SD them. But that is the only chance.

I dont think Calzaghe could deal with RJJ speed, power and defense....

A prime Roy Jones would be too much for Calzaghe.

it would take him 4 rounds? why so much trouble? tarver did it in 2. shouldn't be that hard for a guy like calzaghe who packs such a huge punch.

Where was Roys "mental" weaknesses in his PRIME.... PRIME... 168lbs... 1997... 28-29 years old, PRIME Roy Jones... matter of fact, Joe HIMSELF talked about how CONFIDENT Roy was.

It took til he was 35, dropped 2 weight classes and got knocked out for him to have a mental weakness... and who wouldnt after that.

Hardly the PRIME and YOUNG Roy Joe would be fighting in this hypothetical matchup.
