to add to your observations, i think our main weapon dito ay yung outside shots natin at yung quickness ng mga guards natin. if caguioa, alapag, hontiveros, ritualo and the rest of the guards (incl james yap) would play like that sa olympic qualifier, it's gonna be great at makukuha natin ang 2nd slot sa olympics (wow, isn't that nice?).

but, we have a lot of work to do (im just being realistic so to speak). ang chinese-taipei ay mahinang team palagay ko (sinuwerte lang talaga yung lin kaya sila nakaabot sa winning columns na ganun plus sila ang host team kaya malalakas ang kumpyansa ng mga yun). jordan, lebanon, korea (di pa yata ito talaga yung core ng team na isasabak nila sa olympic qualifier ano?) - these are the good teams at sila ang dapat pagtuunan ng pansin. we have to minimize our errors (passing errors at mga poor shot selections). we have to be focused, work our hearts out in the gym, perfect our plays esp against the taller and quicker teams like china.

He he he. Nagkalat ulit tayo, sa last game pa, at very important game pa vs Kazakshtan! So di ko na papalitan ang name ng thread na to. LOL!

We lost by 17 points! We had to make a point here sana! Since Busan games way back, we lost all our games vs Kazak at we were hoping to break the jinx but we didnt, and this is our worst loss vs them! Not only did we lose all our previous games vs K but in all those games, one of our players got injured, and this time its James Yap who suffered a sprained ankle. If we won, we would have ended up 2nd placer next to Jordan, and we would have broken the jinx since we will face the K team again in Japan (if we get past the elims!). Now the jinx is still on!

Related to this, are you wondering why the RP team wasnt there at the JOnes Cup awarding ceremonies to receive the bronze medal? First, we did not expect to end 3rd after losing to Kazak. We thought US will win vs Iran and Taipei will win vs Korea. But our jinx somehow carried over to these favorites! Iran routed US by a wide margin and Korea lambasted CT with almost 18 points din yata! So the quotient system worked in our favor.

Second, after the very disappointing loss to K, dinedma n Chot Reyes lahat ng players nya at kinulong sa hotel at binigyan ng lights off by 10pm, which more or less coincided w the awarding ceremonies .
