Golden Boy Promotions President Oscar De La Hoya said his company is "willing to work with anyone" to make the right fights happen. De La Hoya is a little frustrated that he can't do a co-promotion with Bob Arum, CEO of Top Rank.
In a recent interview on BoxingScene.com, Arum said he was willing to pay Golden Boy a step-aside fee, and have their company logo displayed as a co-promoter, but he doesn't have any interest in doing a straight co-promotion with Golden Boy. De La Hoya is willing to make the right fights happen, but he won't beg to make those fights happen.
