Depends if he can move up, being that he is almost 30, not sure if he will ever be able to get up to Welterweight or Jr Welterweight...

if he can't get up to a division people actually "CARE ABOUT" or to at least capture then attention of the MEDIA IN GENERAL and Casual fans

THEN...NO!!! He still can become a "GREAT" but he won't come CLOSE to being the Draw that Manny is...Not at 118 lbs

their is no Oscar around to pass the PPV Torch anymore, so every fighter after Mayweather and Manny with aspirations to become this huge draw/cross over SUPERSTAR...lol...GOOD LUCK!

      I don't think so.

Pacman has the background story of being the poor homeless guy who has done good. His countrymen back him to the hill and i just don't see Donaire having the same impact Pac has had.
To be fair to Donaire, Pac is very unique and there probably won't be another like him in our life times

skills power and speed he is up there with Pac..but hard to say anyone right now is in the same breath as Pac, except maybe Floyd and Hopkins..Pac's accomplishment are superb..but Nonito is a very good technical boxer..its up to him to become one of the greats when its all said and done..

Unfortunately not just anyone can carry their abillities up with them through the weight classes. Pacquiao is extremely unique/gifted to carry power/speed from super featherweight to 150 lbs in such a short period of time the way he did.

Donaire will be fortunate to bring his skill set intact up to Gamboa. If he pulls that off, then we can start really thinking about what else he can do.

5 years from now all the *****s will be hating on donaire too.. i remember when pac was coming up nobody give a damm about him because they didnt think he would be where he's at today, they didnt see pac as a threat until pac started beating on their fav fighters then thats when all the hate started. and the excuses they use is we dont hate pac we hate his fans, well then why discredit everything pac has accomplished?? thought ya dont have anything against pac, its his fans??? LOL!!

Depends on when Pacquiao and Mayweather lose or retire. If it happens within the next year ( and Donaire continues winning for the next 5 year) then yes.
