I always thought of Jackson of the glue that held the Lakers together. As he did with the egos that once made up the Bulls. When he goes I'm not sure that even Sloan would be able to fill his shoes.

phil jackson ain't no damn glue.

phil jackson plays with their emotions.

on the bulls , he turned everyone against the gm/owner.

on the lakers the 1st time around , he had everyone go against kobe.

        he likes to play mindgames.

phil has got results. that matters the most. all coaches can teach a system , the trick is getting them to believe in the system. because of mj/bulls success , most players have no choice but to believe right?

i don't know if sloan can coach the lakers. i just want the old man to win a title.

he's too good a coach to not win 1 title.

if players can chase a ring , so should a coach.

From what I remember, MJ and Pip were in on it too.

They wanted Krause to look like the bad guy and rightfully so.

Without those 3, the Bulls would have never won anything and Krause was under the illusion that he could still win without them.

                Guess what? He couldn't.

I want that to happen as well. Lakers would much better offensively, but their interior defense would be too weak.
