PPV just sucks nowadays. There are honestly not too many matchups that are PPV worthy. You got a thrown together bout of Canelo vs Chavez Jr. who hasn't had a significant win in like his entire career holding the balance of boxing. It's pathetic at times.
Then you got matches that the people want to see and the promoters don't put together for fear that their only cash cow will be over and don't realize in the end, it's hurting the overall sport. I'm not saying GGG is a huge draw, but the people have called on the matchup similar to Pacquiao-Jr. and look what a *****fest that turned into after Jr. stalled it for 6 years.
I think people still are just sour from that crap and don't want to get scammed again.
