He was/is the most recognizable athlete in the world....sorry fellas but just because he retired doesnt mean that the public doesnt have interest in him

to some people dismay, Mayweather is an all time great, a living legend and people gravitate to people who are the best at what they do.
Well of course he won't go away nor should he, he should stick around and help Promote I think that is great for the sport. He is still the biggest name in boxing but some fans are annoying about it especially the ones who claim to "hate him" but turn around and start the most threads about him

      either they.....

1)Post first in a thread just to complain about him and his fans

      2) they make threads about him, but wish he'd go away

3)deep down...they are fans, maybe his personality outside the ring rubs them the wrong way....his dominance they cant relate too....he beat their hero or someone they were a fan of.....deep down, they are fans and fattened his pockets

Sports fans are so emo and b!tchmade nowadays

they talk more about the fighters or athletes personal life and how much money they make more than their actual performances in their sport.

In floyds case, it would just mean that they'd have to give him credit for his skills and accomplishments, but hey we know thats not going to happen. Good thing we have youtube, video, magazines. no matter how much they want him to go away, he wont. There is more to come and he'll be everywhere promoting his brand and fighters.....they better get used to it

the only difference is that his business is put out in the public and media....the same people who trash him have done the some stuff or worse...I hope this isnt true but its men on this forum that have hit women, gambled, and worse.

Why not be underdog in a fight it ewoulfnt be that hard! Isn't it possible Floyd is favourite because the people he is fighting either aren't very good at the time he fights them, or physically disadvantaged **cough cough PAC jmm**.
Do you think Floyd would be favourite against srl or hagler or dursan? Or hearns? If Duran and srl can find opponents they were underdog against why can't Floyd, why doesn't he have to do what greats who paved the way for him have to do?
Do his skills not work against people who have physical advantages? Why not fight GGG who would have strength and size, whilst Floyd would have speed and elusiveness?

If he's not overcoming anything how can he be any good?

Confidence is a stain that they can't wipe off.
