So now that he has a new trainer & he beats his weak opponent will his new training get credit? But when Nelo blasts him away again will the old excuse come right back for the credit??

You can't read much unto that.
Definitely true, but just don't think that was the case this time especially with the fall out.

Sandchez told GGG he was losing when his only advice seemed to be, go forward and eat punches and club Canelo to death. Mexican style.

Not a smart idea when the guy in from of you is much quicker and almost as powerful as you.

Then after the fight, despite a lot of people also believing GGG won or it was close Sanchez publicly admits certain defeat when the fight was razor thin. And then a couple months later GGG drops him to learn new things? If GGG did short change Abel then it was definitely because of hard feelings. Both dudes straight up looked inseparable but something came between them and I doubt it was just money.

Actually Sanchez never said post fight that he saw Canelo beat GGG. He said at the post fight conference that he had it a draw, that Canelo fought a great fight (in comparison with the first one, he did) and that he wouldn't cry the judges decision. Then days later he said that based on other people's opinion that supported his point of view, he had GGG winning 7-5.

Those are the facts. What Canelo fans say now... different story.

True story but idk, I swear some Canelo posted a vid of him in an interview saying GGG lost and that what the trainer says is true must be true!

I also had GGG 7-5 in the 2nd fight. Let's just hope GGG isnt too old to make a come back.

Usually not a good sign or idea when fighters decide to split with long time trainers 'His move to leave his long time trainer is just showing that he doubting himself, and is searching for something' I have seen this with David Haye & Ricky Hatton most vividly in recent years.

It's not a good sign for the trainer when numerous other fighters have also left. It's clear now that Sanchez doesn't come up with game plans and doesn't work on too many things in camp. It's mostly about strength and cardio and not so much fundamentals. It's actually probably for the better that GGG left him. Whether he still has enough to compete at the top of the sport remains to be seen.
