I'd like an answer sometime this year, please....
Originally posted by The Big Dunn View PostMy concern is jobs will be added because regulations are relaxed or because unions are broken or eliminated. it's hard for me to celebrate job creation if I see Americans working in the same conditions with little protection like foreign workers.
After all, with those regulation/laws/etc a guy like me found a great, non-union job, that paid so well I had a place and restored muscle car within a year of getting said job.
And the air and water were just fine in 1992.
So you're ok with gutting all post-1992 regs, correct?Last edited by 1bad65; 12-09-2016, 10:21 AM.

We wont participate because it shows your flat-out hypocrisy, double standards, and superfan cheerleading.
And it's fun to watch you try every tactic to avoid fessing up....

And we're talking about Corporate tax not individual tax.
Trump has proposed many tax breaks, including Income Tax cuts. He's not campaigned solely on corporate tax cuts.
So all of those are on the table.
"Tax Law Changes
The Trump Plan will revise and update both the individual and corporate tax codes:
Individual Income Tax
Tax rates
The Trump Plan will collapse the current seven tax brackets to three brackets. The rates and breakpoints are as shown below. Low-income Americans will have an effective income tax rate of 0. The tax brackets are similar to those in the House GOP tax blueprint.
Brackets & Rates for Married-Joint filers:
Less than $75,000: 12%
More than $75,000 but less than $225,000: 25%
More than $225,000: 33%
*Brackets for single filers are ½ of these amounts"

Here's more ducking and dodging for Dunn:
Obama's Stimulus gave Carrier millions!!
"America is bleeding “red ink” and no one within government seems to care, the latest victim to fall prey to the Obama economy is the iconic heating and air-conditioning company Carrier, which just announced it will move its operation from Indianapolis to Mexico, taking with it over 1,400 American jobs.
Ironically the “Department of Energy awarded Carrier $5.1 million in clean energy tax credits in December 2013” for its Indianapolis facility, at the time the company announced they planned to use the money to “expand production at its Indianapolis facility to meet increasing demand for its eco-friendly condensing gas furnace product line.”
They chose to close the Indianapolis operation because of cost.
The announcement of the closing caught everyone by surprise, including Mayor Joe Hogsett;
“While I am obviously concerned about the economic impact, my top priority is the well-being of the hardworking families affected by this decision. A job lost in any part of our community affects us all, and I believe these are the times we must come together as one city to lift up our neighbors.”
While most will in all probability fault Carrier, the true culprit are those incompetent bureaucrats in Washington who have all but destroyed the American Dream, with intrusive mandates and regulations, combined with punitive tax rates, that simply drives businesses away."

So Dunn, are you ready to finally man up and be consistent and either condemn Obama or support Trump, since they've both done EXACTLY the same thing?
Or do you continue being superfan loyal to the team......

Hopefully my industry gets a huge boost too. If you start hearing of new "wafer fabs" being built in the US, you know I'm celebrating. The more jobs for guys like me, the bigger the raises we get. Simple Supply and Demand, labor being the commodity here.

What is the cost to society when jobs are created and the work environment is unsafe and the environment is being destroyed?
What value is the job if you have little benefits and then are not allowed to sue your employer for any injuries or long term health damage as a result of the poor work environment?
This guy doesn't seem like the kind of guy labor should be happy about getting this position.
