  • Damn brand new GameBoy Advance SP now cost as much as PSP's

    And the launch Game Boy Advance is probably the most expensive handheld gaming system out there right now.

    First of all they are rare to find brand new/unopened, and if you find them they cost over $200.

    Game Boy Advance(regular):

    $199:

    $229:

    SP:

    $161:

    $275:

    How the hell did this happen? The first GBA came out in 2001, the SP came out in 2003[it's only 8 years old].

    Now, I understand games/gaming system that no longer get made, tend to rise in price...but seriously, so fast? and so much? The first GBA doesn't have 10 years around until June 11th.

            They don't cost much if they're used. If they're unopened, you can sell them up to $250.

                My SP probably wouldn't even get $15

                  I still have mine, and my brother's SP. Both used though.

                  This is what happens though with old GREAT stuff.

                    In '08, I sold my Super Nintendo for about $100. Only able to get $40 for my PS1 and $30 for my GameCube.
