The Earth rotates around the sun, everything would have to rotate around the Earth to see different stars. Australia never sees the North Star, if the Earth was flat theyd be able to see it.

Looks like the God sits above the "Circle" of the earth, it sure sounds like the Earth is described as being (Round) a circle to me...
