Anthony Joshua has not got any real genuine fans, you only have to look at the outbursts when he was pictured in a Muslim Mosque! If he loses his next fight, allot of people will jump off his hype train! and Joshua will only have himself to blame, because as a personality he is too corroborate and nobody knows the real Anthony Joshua! as a individual you gain real fans by exposes yourself, by expressing your true personality and building a connect with people..(Joshua has failed to do this! he has not self promoted himself very well!).....David Haye in comparison has some real genuine fans.

Joshua is arguably above Pac and Canelo for PPV sales anyway. He did about 600k v Molina. There's no way Canelo or Pac do 600k v that level of competition. Joshua v Wlad will do over 1 million buys in the UK alone. When you consider the size of the population, if you scaled it up to the USA population, that would be like doing 5 million in the UK. Even his Molina fight would be like doing 3m buy in the USA.

I guess you have to factor in that PPV is cheaper in the UK though. With that in mind, i'd still say he's on par with Canelo or a little bit more for PPV sales.

Most of AJ's fans aren't even boxing fans though, they're just riding the hype train, they don't even watch boxing usually. So i'd say his casual fanbase in the UK is huge but once he loses, his fanbase will diminish significantly in my opinion. As it stands, he's beating everyone in PPV sales and also ticket sales regardless of who's buying it.

Frank Bruno, Ricky Hatton, Barry Mcguigan these where all fighters who expressed themselves truthful! they did not play the media game, and they where not petrified to upset the corroborate sponsors! and as a result of this...they built a genuine connection with there fans! Even fighters like Mike Tyson can be grouped in this category! In sport you only find out how popular you are, when you take a loss! Allot of people where heart broken when Ricky Hatton lost his comeback fight, and people where moved to tears when Frank Bruno finally became world champion (You can only evoke these sort of public reactions, if you have genuine fans!)....

David Haye has genuine fans, he has lost fights and even made abit of a plonker of himself! hahaha but he has certain fans who will support him until the end! The worst thing any boxer can do is market themselves towards football fans, they have a tendency to be disloyal and impartial....(Not all of them, but allot of them! it seems to be apart of the culture in football!)...

In team sports its OK to be disloyal and impartial towards individuals! but in boxing these type of fans can be devastating! I genuinely believe that David Price has been effected outside of the ring, due to the bullying and lack of support he has received on social media...

Islamaphobia is a big thing in the UK so wasn’t surprised by the reaction for his mosque photo.. but in actuality, the number of twitter followers grew substantially after that pic so he gained more fans from it really.

If he loses he will no doubt lose fans but he does have real fans. I’ve noticed that even parents like him and he’s seen as a role model. That can’t be said for Haye.. he has a big following of genuine fans but he’s not the household name that AJ currently is.

UK fans generally stick around after loss.. Khan is a good example of that.

You are right about that, because that's excalty how he has been molded by Eddie Hearn and his team! And as man...i would have to respect his choices! but what i am trying to emphasis is? in a sport like boxing, its very important to build a genuine emotional connection with your fans! once that connection is there, people will support you through thick and thin! (Be real, don't wear no make up over your scars!)......

Even if Joshua does lose he is in good hands! because its apparent that Eddie Hearn has a genuine emotional connection....(Just like he had with Carl Froch haha!)...
