That's not really fair though. He lost out on 3 titles fights. He should have faced Pirog instead of Proksa. Felix Sturm spent years ducking him. Once Daniel Geale defeated Sturm and GGG became his mandatory he vacated the belt.

He lost one title because of unfortunate events (Pirog's back going out) he lost out on two title fights because two champions ducked him.

In his situation I'm ok with the fact that he didn't win the WBA belt.

Bhop had 12 title defenses of the IBF title, not a "regular" title like GGG.
