Hunter was mad after the fight because Khan had the balls to jump up to 155 and fight the diva with no tuneups, got wrecked but was able to gather himself and say he's moving back to his proper weight after the fight.

If Khan can do it, then the diva can fight a guy that he already outweighs on fight night as is. If GGG and Candelita fought at 160, the diva would weigh that much more than GGG, it would only help the ginger out. So enough with the damn excuses, if you get wrecked, you can gather yourself like Khan did and say you are moving back down to diva weight.

In this interview he was mad at the media for playing Canelo's "Im not really a MW" game. Somebody asked him if he sees the fight as really a move to JMW because Canelo isn't really a MW and Virgil went off. Saying when they fight tomorrow it's be for the MW championship of the world. And when the media starts calling it how it is that's when it'll be that way.

Him calling for Canelo to figt GGG after his dude was sent to sleep was such a pissy move. Never seen a trainer do that.
You're feeding into the exact double standard that he's talking about.

Everyone beat up on Mayweather for YEARS to face Pacquiao. Everyone beat up on Manny for YEARS to accept Mayweather's terms.

Why isn't anyone beating up on GGG to just accept Caneloweight so the fight can happen?

Why isn't anyone beating up on Canelo to defend his title under the existing terms?

          That's his point.

Good interview for sure, but I still don't see his post-fight comments as anything other than bad form, awkward & mistimed.

His real bitterness is clearly revealed at 8:59! Where he says it "goes both ways." GGG called out Andre Ward (sog) who is trained by hunter. But ggg wanted catch weights and all kinds of other ridiculous contract demands. Now ggg is calling out canelo for wanting catch weights and other ridiculous contract demands.

              It does go both ways.

what i still don't and will not understand is this:

Fight at any weight you want. Fight at 5 pounds for all i care, but do NOT hold a 160 pounds belt hostage.

He wanted the fight at 164 and split 50/50. Can you imagine that? The nerve of Golovkin! Trying to make a fair fight against a guy who hadn't fought in over a year, a guy that use to weigh around 176 rehydrated. Cutting twelve pounds isn't a big deal at that size, unless... you've gained weight? So Golovkin should fight Ward at 168 and split 50/50 against an inactive fighter!
