I don't believe Pac is underappreciated. I think all boxing fans respect him and what he has brought to the ring, even his haters. It is just that we will always wonder what he could have achieved if he didn't allow Bob Arum to lead him around by the nose for all these years. I honestly think we wanted to see him step away like De La hoya, Mayweather, and become his own man and brand. In that regard I think he would have been bigger than both of those men. But he never did, and in that way I think he underachieved and didn't reach for true greatness. But his resume and in ring work is a not to be discussed, he is a GREAT, a LEGEND.

        Exactly. Lame.

Still second best of the era.

These underappreciated threads are too vague

What is underappreciated to you? Where should he be rated?

I'd say he's a top 25 ATG P4P. Is that rated well enough in your view?

Anything that Pacquiao did beyond 130lbs was basically kabuki theater bull****. David Diaz in his only fight at 135lbs (no one knew who he was before or after the fight), skipped over 140lbs when it was utterly loaded to fight a middleweight at 147lbs, and then shell fights.

              Acknowledge reality.
