its that lara would have been a great addition to his resume years ago when it was lacking even jacobs and canelo...yet they made excuses that he didnt sell and no one knew him....yet he was more known than anyone he had fought at that point...lara was the #1 guy in the division below and had headlines many cards on cable and premium.....yet they were ok with the wades and monroes and other assorted bums like curtis stevens who had lost to two D Level guys.....

The only reason people say this about him is because of his trainer Fable Sanchez. Dude started throwing around names saying GGG will fight and beat anyone from 154-168. Refused to meet canelo at 157 and tried to make Ward come down to 164. Then they go on and say "well ward couldn't make 168 anyways that's why he moved up to 175" ok them why tf are you trying to make him come down.
