Toney was on the top 10 P4p when that fight came around. Toney made no secret that he had to shed a bunch of weight by fight night. He wanted to show that he will lose the weight and beat Jones. It didn't work that way. Leading to the fight that was all that Toney was showing was how much overweight he was.

Look at what Toney did after that fight. Lost to Griffin (I wonder what excuses ppl are going to make that fight) and didn't fight anybody of note for a while. It took all the way to the Jirov fight for him to get back into the spot light and that was like 20 fights later losing a few in between.

Toney was one of my favorite fighters and I had him as a favorite in the Jones fight. He is a victim to himself.
