But the fight will generate more money in Vegas because the Casinos pay more for the fight, then jack up the ticket prices to attract high rollers and celebs to come to the fight and spend money in the casinos. That's how you generate more money fighting in these smaller more exclusive venues in Vegas then anywhere else. There is a reason why Floyd fought strictly in vegas. It's because that's where the money is. It's not about selling the MOST seats. It's about making the most money and selling your seats for the highest prices and getting the biggest check from the venue for the rights to the fight.
I'm glad you explained it. I'm tired of seeing these stupid comments saying it should've been in Dallas.

No I wasn't there. I was only joking about the hotdogs. I could feel the excitement radiating out of the screen while I was watching the fight. I'm a fan of both Brook and GGG, so it really got to me. Must have been something else in the arena!

How many PPVs did Canelo's last fight sell? 260/290K?

If Canelo vs Chavez sells 800K, that will mean Chavez has nearly 3 times more fans than Canelo, yeah?

He has a 15m offer on the table but somehow lost his pen because he won't sign. Meanwhile his fight with Jacobs him and GGG combined making less money then Chavez was offered to fight Canelo. And Chavez was given less then half that 15m offer. Matter fact Khan and Chavez combined made less then the 15m offer that GGG thinks he's too good for. Meanwhile both guys got paid more then GGG did each of his last 2 fights and more then he getting for Jacobs. Canelo has tons of options and every fighter not named GGG would kill for a fraction of the money he has on the table. If the fight never happens it will be because of GGG not Canelo.
listen, I think 10-15 million is fair. Sometimes you gotta take a raw deal to get where you wanna be. His team is fighting for the best offer they can get and that should include PPV upside. If GBP is willing to offer 15 million they're apparently expecting a huge seller. If I'm GGG I take that 15 million and beat his azz. Problem is, where does he cash in after that? There's no other money fights for the guy so he needs to get paid as much as he can for the Canelo fight. Btw I don't even believe they offered him 15, maybe 10 or 8 but 15 seems kinda big to start negotiations

how many did GGG's PPVs do? 97/150K? And that was the biggest fight of his career. Canelo fought a unknown fighter who didn't bring a single fan to the table and STILL did double what was billed as GGG's biggest fight of his career. sad day for you because you know Canelo on his worst PPV is 2X the draw GGG is on his best day. Fans are buying to see Canelo, Chavez will be lucky to have 25% of the fans there cheering for him. meanwhile the writings are on the wall for GGG's fight with Jacobs being a bust (his second in a row) can't sell tickets and likely will do at around what his fight with Lemieux did.

                  • Tickets are not sold out

Tickets are still available from all major ticket vendors, stub hub and ticket master?
