  • Comments Thread For: Abel Sanchez: Jacobs' Size Advantage Nothing New for Golovkin

NEW YORK Size doesn't matter to Gennady Golovkin. That's the stance his trainer, Abel Sanchez, has taken as the Kazakh knockout artist has prepared to fight Daniel Jacobs. The 6-feet Jacobs stands two inches taller than the 5-feet-10 Golovkin and should out-weigh him by at least five or six pounds once their fight starts Saturday night at Madison Square Garden (HBO Pay-Per-View; $64.95 in HD).

The hating GGG fan club thinks GGG is going down now thats funny he's never been down in 400 amateur bouts and never down as a pro but this China chin dude is going to put him down thats comical

I think Jacobs has about 4-5 to make it a fight or hurt him which he is capable of but I think GGG wins this fight

Not to be a dick, but GGG is likely going to "stink the place out" like he did against Lemiuex. Look for GGG to jab and move with the occasional counter for a handful of rounds before he opens up. Nothing wrong with that tactic, but that's what he does when he fights someone who can hurt him.

Idk how John Jackson is bigger than GGG? Maybe b/c GGG's on weight and John isn't?

But when floyd does it, its a master class boxing lesson.

How is hammering a guy with hard shots into a TKO win a bad fight? If you have some weird personal hatred against hard jabs that's your business, but to call it a bad fight is ludicrous.

It is not the hard jabs he has a weird personal hatred against ))) It is certain fighters.

The only parts of GGG fights that are boring are the 1 minute breaks between rounds.

Apples to oranges. Floyd doesn't really get hit, GGG does.
