i just want to use cuaht's thread to talk about how underrated i think the band "toto" really is.

the bassist is a freaking monster. so is the drummer. i like the vibe that they've got going with the dual singers, too. great tone on the guitars, and they've got an underrated lead player.



the dancer that they use in the rosanna video needs to come to my place and sit on my lap. i freaking love that "dancer's" build. those girls are incredible.

Can't lie, Toto is one of my embarrassing groups I like, Journey is the other one.

I wouldn't be surprised if this thread hasn't been reported a lot. Not that I disagree with some of the posts, just that Islam unlike Christianity and Judaism is not allowed to be criticized publicly.

Once again, you missed my point. I suggest you youtube some of Sam Harris' lectures on moderates in Islam and other religions.

I don't have an issue with Muslims, I have an issue with Islam. I will repeat my analogy.

Let's say I write a book where in the first half I say be good to people, help little old ladies cross the road and be polite.

Then in the other half of the book, I say kill blonde people. They are corrupted, they are against our teachings, and all blondies should die.

Would you allow that book to be read by your children? Do you think the followers of that book are good people even if most of them ignore the part about killing blonde people?

READ the Quran, read it's teachings. These "extremists" as you call them, are not extremists, they are just really good Muslims who follow the teachings of the Quran and Hadiths to a tee.

Most Muslims are just cherry picking their religion, as most religious people do all over the world, regardless of their faith.

LOL I don't belong to either religion either, but by this post it's apparent you don't know much about either.

The major difference between Christianity and Islam, is that Christianity has gone through a change that Islam hasn't. You couple that with the fact that most Christians claim they are living under the "New Covenant" and you won't find many violent scriptures in the New Testament at all.

Of course you will in the Old Testament, but Christians claim not to live by that part of the Bible anymore. I'm not defending Christianity over Islam, much blood has been shed in the name of Christianity, but this isn't the 14th century anymore.

Christians don't act, or adhere to their religion in this way anymore. You will be hard pressed to find a Christian who thinks you should kill your neighbor if he is working on the Sabbath.

Christianity has been brought out of the dark ages kicking and screaming, it hasn't happened yet in Islam. Plus, the teachings of Christ are pretty much all about non violence, giving to the poor, spreading the wealth, I mean Jesus was a socialist hippie.

Mohamed on the other hand was a warrior. He wasn't a prophet because he didn't prophesize anything, but he did chop a lot of people's heads off PERSONALLY and killed off most and ran off the rest of the Jewish tribes living in the Arabian peninsula.

Mohamed was all about the sword, and conquering with force. Different teachings all together, and we can't lump them in the same group.

Apparently, there's a lot of Australians that have moved to the region to fight alongside ISIS. I knew that there is a lot of Muslims in Australia, but didn't know they were this radicalized.

I know there's a big population of Muslims in Michigan, I wonder if any from there have left to fight for ISIS as well.

Make no mistake about it people, this is a conflict of civilizations. I know it's the unpopular thing to say, but this is brutality on another level and it's backed up by their beliefs and scriptures.
