lakers know now not to post up dwight unless he's right next to the basket.

he's fine when all he has to do is jump and throw the ball up.

but obviously further out where he has to make moves is no good.

another observation.

nash can't drive and dish on this team as a first option.

no space. other team just packs the paint and swarms him. not like on suns where shooters stretch d and nash can dribble inside.

what works is posting up kobe on the side first.

when double comes, kobe dish to nash on top then nash is deadly.

depending on how d reacts and who goes to double kobe....

nash is open for 3, open to drive to paint, open to drive halfway for mid j or swing it to the other side for them to shoot/drive.

worked effectively with pau too, though less numerous and even when pau was high post.

no one is blaming the loss and to on dantoni.

i'm just talking about how the game play changed again.

last night is normal. happens a lot actually. get a big lead, get reckless, other tean gets hot. it's normal. that's why a lot of games have 20 point leads but few are 20 point wins.

i'm talking about how there was more post ups in utah/okc but LESS against noh/phx.

which is weird because the 1st 2 have better big men than the last 2.

I read that Pau Gasol had said in an interview to L.A. Times columnist T.J. Simers that he will consider asking for a trade if coach Mike D’Antoni and Dwight Howard both return next season.
