Two of my favorite all time fighters are Chris Byrd (who I think woulda been talked about P4P in his day if he'd competed at MW, SMW &/or LHW for most of his career as he should've instead of at HW) & Jorge Paez (who most mfers probably don't even know here or if they've heard of the name they know his son & not him). I don't think either was the greatest fighter of their day, & I wouldn't claim that either, but they got to a high enough level in the sport & had my interest, just like Kirkland to this guy, so they were guys I could see & could appreciate for their full value to me. Fair play to having Kirkland be your favorite boxer. He was definitely a fun watch win or lose most of the time so hard to hate on him for that reason as I see it.
