Ok 5k people let in.. other people in poorer countries see that.. what happens? the rest of the world thinks its ok to rush the US border and they can get in.. meanwhile hardworking individuals who go through the process properly can wait up to 5 years to get in? Seems fair?

Also people like Cortez complain big business like amazon don't pay enough... No **** because you let the country be flooded by immigrants who live 6-7 people in a house and will take a lower wage..

These are sensible considerations when crafting a country's immigration policies. However, these talking points are seldom discussed openly amongst democrats.


They want a 'living wage' e.g. $15 plus min wage with benefits. How do you ensure unskilled workers get these wages when you are also allowing immigrants/migrants taking low paying jobs? They seem to be in direct conflict with each other.
