Training camps for heavyweights can be up to 12 weeks, and he'll have less than 6 weeks for this one. You have to compensate him because this is a major risk to his health and career.

Considering that his fight with Wilder drew over 14,000 in NYC, he's the best available candidate for a big NYC-based fight. Plus, it was the most dramatic, action-packed fight of Wilder's career. If they sign this deal quickly and promote it properly going forward, it can be built into a bigger event than the original with Miller.

10 million seems fair considering the circumstances. But I would advise him to settle for 8 million.
did you advice him to settle for 1mil against wilder?
You are a greedy *****h yourself.
You are no different from Ortiz.

If he gets his management to pull their fingers out now he gets a 6 week camp. His camps from previous fights are around the 6 to 8 week mark. I dont think Ortiz was really on Joshua's radar, In the UK he isnt seen as half the monster that Americans see him as but this is his chance, its not ideal but Miller messed up, needs must. But there is a shot if he wants to take it.

Every riffraff earning chicken money all his career will suddenly over price himself when AJ's name is mentioned.
This nigqa was very happy with half a million fighting wilder but his silly asz think all of a sudden hez worth 10mil.

If Eddie gives him anything higher than 2mil, AJ should ensure he doesn't leave that ring conscious. Preferably on a stretcher.
          Damn it.

Either fight Joshua for 6.5mil or go back to facing nobodies for peanuts. Ortiz will never get a chance like this again. What is he actually in the sport for at 40 years old if not to take the biggest, most financially lucrative fights? If he turns it down the people advising him need shooting.
Ortiz is nothing but an undercard fighter.

Canceling the event is, of course, a last resort. A lot of people would stand to lose money. And what’s a credible opponent anymore? It doesn’t have to be a top fighter, just someone who doesn’t get KOed in the first round.

Considering his other purses id say 1 million is fair.

Agreed. But no less than 6.5M plus expenses. After all they will be getting a better name in decline and saving the event.

Ortiz is one of them. No too many around and available though.
