Close, but I'm going to go with Stockton. He created the style that Nash plays with. Based off that alone, I'll go with the creator over the re-creator.

Everybody knows Nash's MVPs are a little fraudulant. Being a white hope in the NBA garners you 50% more attention than deserved. He's great no doubt, but that doesn't do much to actually bolster the argument.

That being said, Nash wins both. Mullen is overshadowed in his time and Nash's MVPs, as silly as they are, will contribute to his legacy. Pickup game.... Nash is a better threat in that environment.

I don't have a problem with them because he was so valuable to those Suns teams. No matter who got injured or who was on the court, he made those players look better than they were, as evident by what happened when those players left.

People don't give Steve Nash the credit for being one of the greatest shooters EVER PERIOD. His percentages are like that of PF's and centers but he gets alot of his points from the perimiter.
