I won a few poker tournaments at the local casino. I'm pretty good. You have to have luck on your side because if you aren't getting the cards, you ain't winning ****.

i'm good online usually, it's quicker so you get to play more hands - meaning you have a better chance of getting lucky.

I tend to be usually **** when playing in real life, it's too slow and i have no patience.

I was like that too when I first started playing. I eventually started watching the poker tournaments on espn and started playing video poker on my phone. I learned and I eventually started hitting up the real tournaments when I felt like I was ready.

Patience is half the battle especially if you are hitting up the tournaments. Usually when I hit up a tournament, I'm usually there for a minimum of 6 hours because you have to go through 3 tables to win the grand prize which is usually $1000. Sometimes it's $2000 depending on the day. I see dumbasses getting frustrated not getting the cards that they want and they become impatient betting big on stupid ass hands. That's where I usually win tbh, patience is key but like I said luck is involved because without getting the hands, you're done.

That's the only reason I'm good, I have infinite patience.

Can also play in the poker stars home game. Some one collects escrow from everyone else.

And if you learned from playing video poker apps and watching WSOP on ESPN, hate to say it but you are learning backwards. Poker tournaments are a complete waste of time and are not even profitable in a casino setting. Go ahead and say well XXX made 10 mill over 10 years! Well guess what, he wasn't playing with his money. By the time you deduct tournment buy ins and travel expenses I promise you, they are losing.
