I've been a big fan of film director Kevin Smith since his film Clerks in the 90's. Funny cat with a unique take on sh^t. Always seemed like a good genuine guy who's got inspired by Richard Linklater as a young adult & later in his 30's & 40's became an inspiration for other filmmakers or just other cats with unique takes in various fields with various sh^t.
Anyway last week he had a massive heart attack & apparently nearly died. He talks about it in the video below (at the f#cking hospital still lol) & later on Ralph Garman's podcast where things get real with his experience with this situation, his health, his life & his impact on people. Really great conversation I figured I'd share with some of you who might be reaching "heart attack age" & thinking about mortality more in general.
