The internet has rescued us from the fake mystique of "college level discourse".
I remember having to explain to people who never went how dumb the college environment is, how most professors (unless you teach comp sci at MIT or something) are stuttering burnouts who simply couldn't find employment anywhere else since college social science departments are the last refuge for people who want desk jobs but have zero tech skills.
How the student body would struggle to fill out DMV forms and are just sheltered kids who have emotional meltdowns over difficult topics like race and politics.
