  • Joshua vs Miller: Like dancing with your sister. Looks real, but means nothing.

Hearn is the problem. Why have a race horse and never enter it into a top race with the best horses !Hearn is turning aj into a panto horse ! a frank Bruno.

Miller has a chance to give AJ an L, this is the best fight available for AJ outside of Fury, Wilder, and Ortiz, challenge wise.

AJ is partially a victim of his own success. He has obviously already fought Povetkin, Parker, Klitschko, Brezeale and Whyte.

      Of the other top contenders:

Fury fighting wilder. Has offered both 60/40 deals I think 95% would consider fair.

Miller - next highest rank contender

Ortiz fighting hammer. Could probably have fought Ortiz but he isn’t great marketability wise so not an ideal fight for sky or DAZN.

Pulev - again issues marketability wise, has already pulled out of a fight against AJ once.

Then who else is there? Kownacki maybe? But Miller makes more sense at moment in my view and try and get kownacki further down the line.

Why would a fight between the champion and a top contender be meaningless? AJ has faced more champions and top contenders than Wilder in about half the number of pro fights. As champion Wilder has defeated Stiverne, Ortiz and Fury and a few guys not even in the top 30. AJ defeated champion Martin, Champion Parker, Wlad, Whyte and Povetkin.

Is it me or were there plenty of posts from Americans about how Miller would be too dangerous for Joshua and he'd swerve him too?

Unless your sister was into it...which is possible given that she is over 300 pounds and can't get any other dance partners. Except maybe beercules.

              Yup

If AJ fought wilder: "why he ducking fury"
If he fought Fury: "he dont want Dat Wilder smoke"
If he fought ortiz: "Wilder ko'd Ortiz when he was only 39"
If he fought whyte: "he already beat him dis mean nothing yo"

              You get the picture

                Looks that way.

I'd argue that Joshua v Miller at MSG is the best fight that we could've hoped for with Wilder and Fury having a rematch. Damn sight more interesting than Joshua v Whyte at Wembley.

Hopefully it leads to Joshua v Wilder/Fury in Vegas.

The best available opponents for Joshua are ranked as following:

                  1. Luis Ortiz

                  2. Jarrell Miller

                  3. Kubrat Pulev

Basically, this was the best fight that could be made outside of Joshua-Ortiz atm. (Excluding Wilder and Fury for obvious reasons.)

Thats right. He holds 4 world titles, is the highest paid Boxer on the planet, has Wilder running hard in the other direction has beaten or offered to face the majority of the top 10 in the division, packs nearly 100 thousand people in to his fights and is now fighting in America and now American haters are ****ting themselves incase Joshua does well over there too.

You Americans just really struggle to accept foreigners doing well dont you. You hate it, if its not American its not good or interesting. Your not Boxing fans you are just fans of American Boxers.
