I guarantee you all my points Broner wonít make 140 forget about him even taking those fights I promise you if Broner next fight is at 140 and he succesfully weighs in at 140 without some bull**** I will give you all my points mark my words. Guy will use his own version of Canelo weight to lure fighters in

When he fought Granados it was scheduled to be at 140but he forced him to make it 144 only way you can make Broner fight at the real weight is by simply being a fighter that has someone behind them like, if your not successful Broner will just walk through you with his team including the god Al Haymon
I didn't say anything about Broner campaining at 147, I was talking about the rematch and the rematch only, it's pretty clear that Broner has no business fighting the top guys at 147, but for the rematch to be a fair fight where we can see the best of both fighters the fight shiuld be at 147.

I think Broner would be the A side maybe not the a side fighter though.
He sure knows how to get the numbers to watch him.
Better than most of the world champions.

Why should Broner go up to 147 when he fights at 140? All props to Vargas, one of my fav fighters, but the rematch should be 144 or 140

Yes. Broner attendance and ratings have been consistent. Garcia numbers were high against Thurman and I guarantee Broner's numbers will be higher than Garcia's last fight against Rios. His attendance was higher than Garcia v. Rios. Spence ratings and attendance are lower than Broner's. Wilder and Thurman are the only 2 doing better numbers than Broner. And with that long layoff and tune up opponent I doubt Thuman's numbers will be higher than this fight.

No, I don't think it will make one bit of difference because he gave AB his best. He gave him all that he got and Adrien kept coming for him.

Personally, I don't think he has any more room for improvement. However, on the other hand, I believe that Broner has a lot more room for improvement.

Before this fight everybody said he was washed up including myself.Well he definitely surprised the Hell out of me with that performance of his.

He bit down and dug deep.

Jessie Vargas wouldn't have been able to punch any harder than he did, had he not had to cut down that final three pounds, full stop (As sharp a puncher as Broner could be, he wouldn't have been able to hit any harder either.

Paulie Malignaggi made a rather astute observation during the fight; Broner having a good chin and constantly coming forward seems to have the effect of getting fighters to feel like they need to throw extra punches to keep Broner off of them.

Jessie Vargas set a pretty aggressive pace for the first 6 rounds, and that sapped his energy (mentally and physically). By the time the 10th round or so came around, Vargas was able to find that next bit of energy. The end.

Jessie Vargas controls his energy better (save throwing those excessive 10-15 punches early), and Vargas keeps his good pace going into the 8th round before energy becomes the issue.
