No doubt that Mikeys size would be a serious threat for Loma. Anyone who doesn't know that has never been hit by a guy who naturally out weighs you by 15-20 pounds. Lomachenko will have the speed advantage, but it only takes 1 mistake

While there are some very knowledgeable boxing fans who post on this site, unfortunately, it is also populated by a large number of jingoistic morons and others who do not appreciate the sport or the boxers.

Loma is is very much for real!
You don't win two gold medals in the Olympics without skills.
It has taken him a few fights to understand the importance of leverage in his power shots but he has it! Foot positioning with balance gives him power along with angled punches his opponents don't see.
Very good fighter who shows a lot of old school moves and thinks steps ahead of his opponent as the rounds roll over.

As to the knock down, as he stated he relaxed and stood in front of a good fighter and got caught with a very good straight right hand. He got dropped and got right up and continued to fight.

Funny how a knock down has so much meaning to fans on this forum. They react the same way to videoed spar sessions.

Mikey is better than linares is my point and he's also a much bigger puncher. He's also more durable considering he's never been stopped like linares has. Arum won't want to take that risk and have a budding star like Loma lose to a guy like Mikey who is a former top rank fighter and wouldn't benefit top rank financially long term.
