Injuries did play a part, he got glandular fever at the end of his first season and that can affect you for months, makes you quite weak. Also Roeder kept trying to use him as an attacking midfielder, with Butt holding, he clearly isn't made for that. Parker is basically a Gattuso type of player, he's good at charging about making challenges, that's it. Also he was made captain so maybe more was expected of ihm.

We can't regret selling him though because he has been a pretty **** signing for West Ham, he hasn't proven us wrong.

Not after what he has said, you can't keep players with that attitude in the squad. It pisses off the fans and it will piss off his teammates. I wouldn't sell him to another premiership club though.
