Lol, he fought Floyd like 18 months after this with no fight. Of course he wasn't going to be the same. He also fought FLOYD MAYWEATHER. Floyd made him miss, he wasn't an open target, it takes way more out of you when you are missing than when you are landing. Floyd just took his weapons away from him and got his timing, then it was game over.

Yea, Floyd fought real physical during that fight.

he had to to avoid prison time man, he was under oath and the gig was up. They was all caught and if he lied he would of gone to gain. Im of the oppinion at the top level they are all on something or have taken something, so im not making my judgement off him being on PED's or not.

I don't fault him for admitting to it he was busted and if he didn't he was going to jail. Only an idiot wouldn't do the same. But I don't think all top level fighters are on something. You might think others are but nobody thinks we know he roided. And if he roided for the rematch why wouldn't he roid for the first fight when he jumped 2 divisions over night and packed on tons of pounds and muscle. Watch the first fight and there are more signs of steroid fighter then the rematch. At least one of those wins you got to take away because he was busted and the first now has a dark cloud over it. I just can't give him a pass because we suspect maybe others were cheating. We don't suspect we know mosley cheated. Same reason why we don't know for a fact but everybody thinks Margarito cheated more fights then just against mosley.

So true! Not only did most people think Oscar got robbed and the decision was bad (still remember George Foreman losing his mind when they read the cards and gave it to Mosley calling it a disgrace lol) but Mosley later on ADMITTED under oath to taking steroids during that fight to avoid going to jail. How does boxing not change this fight to NC? Other fighters fail drug tests and it get's changed after the fact. This man went one step further and admitted to taking banned drugs.

This is tough before all the steroid problems the first Oscar fight was definitely his best performance. But there is definitely a dark cloud over that fight now. Was busted and admitted to taking steroids for their rematch (which Oscar was robbed in by the way) but if he cheated for the second fight why wouldn't he of cheated for the first fight? He had OFF the charts stamina and was able to outwork Oscar late in a amazing fight. But likely was juicing. Margarito was more dominant win and he was likely clean but given how bad Margarito has looked in every fight since he's not been able to use illegal wraps I think it takes some of the luster off that win. It just highlights how much a fraud Margarito was all those years prior.

Yea bro I hear you and your entitiled to your view of things. But IMO not "all" but a good 90% of top level competitors in any sport, espcially sport with high stakes of money, and minimal drug testing, PED's are common place. IMO Shane probally used **** prior to going with the balco labs. Thing is, no one really cares that much, he didnt have to give any of the money back, he went on and made millions more, and i dont blame him one bit, its the nature of pro sports, win at all costs.

If the people at balco didnt get caught, no one would know shane took shyt, because he didnt fail a drugs tests.

He looked more juiced in the second fight IMO. Although I'd bet he was also juiced in the first fight.

One thing that can help spot juicers is uncharacteristic tightness and massive strength. Mosley in the Hoya rematch, Roy Jones vs Griffin rematch, Vargas vs Hoya, Marquez vs Pacquiao IV.

Again, not to say this is the only time they juiced. But likely upped the mg's and when someone shows up like that I can almost always tell they are juiced up.

Like Conte says steroids make you slower, so you still have to taper off. Remember Bernstein saying he was worried about Marquez because he didn't get his speed until a few days before the fight? Das that juice.
