If canelo doesn't get tired, golovkin DOES NOT go 12. All his fans better hope his conditioning doesn't greatly improve in a rematch.
Get the hell out of here, these are two completely different fighters and fights.

Canelo looked gassed, his pivots, head movement, and combinations were clearly no where near too much for golovkin, as golovkin outlanded him almost by 100 punches to the head. Not to mention he walked through everything Canelo threw at him.

Canelo would throw a 10 second flury and then retreat back to the ropes where he got tagged all night.

Golovkin was robbed of a victory that just about any serious analyst virtually agrees with.

C'mon man, this is the breakdown of any major analyst who was watching the fight.

Mookie Alexander (Bloody Elbow) --------> 117-111 GGG
Brian Campbell (CBS) ---------------------> 117-111 GGG
Jack Rathborn (Mirror UK) ----------------> 117-111 GGG
Harold Lederman (HBO) ------------------> 116-112 GGG

        Associated Press --------------------------> 114-114 Draw
Lance Pugmire (LA Times) ----------------> 114-114 Draw
Chris Mannix (Yahoo) ---------------------> 114-114 Draw
De La Hoya --------------------------------> 115-113 Canelo
Gareth Davies (UK Telegraph) -----------> 116-112 Canelo

I don't have an agenda, neither did any of these media outlets. It's pretty clear that GGG got robbed. Even the complaints on twitter about it being a draw, no one is complaining that Canelo got robbed, virtually everyone is saying the opposite.

Gareth Davies at The Telegraph gave it to GGG not Canelo.

            Gareth Davies' verdict

A weird, skewed set of scores just cast a pall over a brilliant fight, played out at breakneck speed between two great fighters with very high boxing IQ, heart, chins, stamina and desire.

GGG keeps his belts but that was a terrible set of scores for the fight. 118-110 from the judge Adelaide Byrd makes little sense.

It means she scored 10 rounds to Canelo and two to GGG. The close scores are more forgivable, but GGG won that contest.

I had him winning 8-4 in rounds, or at worst 7-5. There were one or two rounds which were hard to score, or close even, but all that will happen now is that we will see these two great fighters go at it again.
