So what your telling me is that my 3X + Smith was an underdog X2 would not have given me 600 points if I would of called it right ?

In fact even under the old 2018 system it wouldn't have given you 600.

Under the current system it would have given you (on a perfect pick):

(40 x 3) + (40 x 2) = 200

Under the old system it would have given you:

40 x 3 x 2 = 240

The highest score it's possible to get from a regular (non DRAW) pick is 360 from a perfect 40 with a x5 on a +1000 underdog.

The most possible points including draw picks is 450 with a x3 on a DRAW, and I still reckon that's on the high side. I was kinda hinting at banning multipliers from DRAW picks but didn't follow through cos there still seemed to be some support for it.


We'll see how it plays out this year, we have reduced the threshold for underdog multipliers so we should be getting a few more of those coming into play, but if enough folk like the idea of bigger scores from multipliers we can look at that for next season.

I think this is a perfect balance! The multipliers should add points, but they shouldn't be sending you from the bottom to the top

Okay gentlemen, I've been kinda torn because this weekends only significant fight is a huge mismatch in J-Rock vs Rosario... but the bookies have it no wider that Jaime vs Spike last week (even if I think that's bullshat) and we included that, and besdies I'm real keen to keep the momentum going.

Ha ha... yeah, you ain't alone at least, man. Not one single player picked Rosario to beat J-Rock and only a handful picked Smith FTW last week. I seem to recall 2019 started off with a few early upsets too, FWIW.

Seems I was leading the pack for a few weeks last year because the scores stayed the same for a month! lol ( Some guys are never pleased.:-)
