  • Does Danny Garcia move to 147 after fighting Rod Salesman?

Whats the script with this you reckon?

There were disagreements before between him and his nutcase of a father about Danny wanting to move upto 147 iirc.

If not surely his next fight would have to be either Lucas Matthysse or Viktor "Pew Pew" Postol?

I think Angel knows something about Danny and is milking the 140 division while he can, we all know danny struggles with a boxer with actual boxing credentials... and if he goes to 147 I see the following dudes beating him,

    Pacman (although Haymon/Arum)
    Maidana
    Khan (with the Collazo repeat)
    Lopez
    Brook
    Porter
    Thurman
    Bradley
    Guerrero

The only guys he beats are,

    Frankie Gavin (because he's crap)
    Rios (he cannot box)
    Alvarado
    Senchenko
    Cano

All of which are nothing fights in that division.

    Whats your take?

Danny should fight Peterson in a unification match.

I dont know man, I think Peterson is a vicious KO waiting to happen. I know Matthysse ****ed him up but I still think he's one shot away from being retired.

I think Danny has the ability to land that hook of his and end the night.

Stay at 140, he won't bring power with him.

Any of the top guys at 147 make Danny look stupid.

After losing, he moves up to 147 to challenge Dod Dirska, an undefeated featherweight at the 147 pound limit.

Doubt it. Dirska is rated at 61. That's a bit high for Danny.

Ah, you're right, I forgot about Dirska's admirable ability to transverse the classes with ease.
