This is the typical British MO. Promote yourself with a big name fighter or event so you can get the free exposure. Where was all this motivation by Saunders to fight either guy when they were looking for a challenge?

BJS was also in discussions to fight Canelo in May but Goldenboy chose to go with the money over World title and chose Chavez Jr instead.
BJS has had a series of injuries too so hopefully will be far more active now especially as he's only just turned 28 Years old so coming into his Peak years as a Boxer.Comment

Saunders was given an opportunity to showcase himself in front of an American PPV audience on the Canelo vs Liam Smith undercard. The plan was to set up a fight with Canelo next.
But he and Frank Warren inexplicably turned that down.
