At no point did I ask Ruiz to stop being prideful of his heritage, but it's going to the point that it sounds like a PR gimmick, not genuine, and he keeps shouting out the Mexican part of his fanbase while ignoring everyone else who loves his story, and cheer for him in the ring.

You don't have to be Mexican to be a fan of Ruiz.

Stop with your sh it, Andy said thanks to everybody in Instagram and he is genuine with his words about México. Look, he represented México in amateur, was national champion in amateur, was part of the mexican delegation, all his family is from Mexicali, B.C, where I a.m.

Look he has a tatoo in his left arm "Hecho en México" (Made in México).

It was his dream being the first mexican champion of the world and he did it, he can to talk about this what he want.

As for your stance on the Klitschko brothers, I agree. I always considered Vitali better. And I felt Vitali was the true heavyweight champ while he was active.

As for Fury, and his claim to the legitimate heavyweight title. His claim to being the man definitely faded during his inactivity. But IMO, no one stepped forward and established himself as the clear cut top guy. And when Fury did return, he arguably beat one of the guys with a claim to the top spot. So to me, he’s done enough, along with nobody else establishing himself, to at least need to be beaten for someone to claim heavyweight supremacy. Just my opinion.

BTW, why would Fury need to beat AJ to become the top guy in the division? AJ is pretty much irrelevant until he cleans up that mess he made a couple weeks ago.
Fair enough! But Fury seems to be ducking AJ and the Wilder rematch which was a draw as he was knocked down twice, the second time for 13 seconds (longer than Breazeale) so he definitely need a to best both to say he is the best (swap AJ for Ruiz if he loses rematch) I think that is the reason the ring belt is still not owned by anyone which is the correct decision. Fury also 'Arguably' lost to John McDermott.

Ring magazine stripped Fury of their title because of inactivity. Just like the rest of the ABC groups. But Fury is still the lineal champ because he beat Wladimir. How meaningful is his lineal title based on everything that happened since he won it is up to each individual’s interpretation.

Lineal champ or not. Fury, along with no other current heavyweight has established himself as the clear cut top guy in the division. IMO Wilder and Fury are clearly the top two. AJ is currently irrelevant. And personally I rate Ruiz behind Wilder and Fury because of his loss to Parker.

But at the end of the day, I think he’s better than Ruiz. I also think that what happen to him in the first fight is fixable. He basically got caught going for the kill. If he stays patient and uses his physical advantages, he should be fine in the rematch.
He is chimney but like Lewis and Klitz he can learn to hide it.

Same holds true with Fury. The biggest difference with Fury is that he arguably just beat the top guy in the division. That combined with him beating the last true top dog in the division makes him very relevant. How ever you wanna categorize it.
At any rate, clearly the wrong term is applied here. Lineal Champion implies a lineage beyond beating one former champion. Most champions win the title from a current champion.

Andy Ruiz is a better style match up for Deontay Wilder anyway. In addition, Wilder is better at fighting off the back foot and has a better stick and move style than Anthony Joshua.

Wilder is a long to mid range fighter. Where as AJ is mostly a mid to short range fighter who likes to fight in the center of the ring, where he is at his most vulnerable, to Andy Ruiz, Jr's fast hands.

Joshua hardly ever fights off the back foot unless he is hurt. AJ cannot fight off the back foot and throw punches at the same time because he lacks the stamina. Wilder can fight off the back foot for an entire fight without getting tired.

The lineage of every title starts somewhere. You can trace Canelo’s MW title back to Bernard Hopkins. But who did X beat for it?

I’m being saying since the Ruiz fight that AJ needs to hire Jonathan Banks. That’s the closest thing we have to Manny Stewart who helped LL and Wladimir fight around their suspect beards. That said, I think LL was a much better fighter than both Wlad and AJ. And Wlad was fortunate to fight in possibly the weakest era of heavyweight boxing ever. AJ has to deal with fellow super heavyweights that can fight. Neither LL or Wlad had to deal with that in their respective primes.
