I havent even tried.... Whats it doing? What I described?

I'm at work but I'm reading major problems - people can't get on, logged off after couple minutes and problems creating characters.

Grand Theft Auto Online Launch Updates

Thank you everyone for continuing to bear with us since yesterday’s initial roll out of Grand Theft Auto Online – we’re aware that a variety of technical difficulties have made it difficult to get access and that the experience has been a bit less than smooth for many of you who jumped in straight away, so here are a few updates as of this afternoon to keep you all apprised.

At the Rockstar Games Support site, there is a dedicated article listing out the most common technical issues being reported. Things are changing and developing frequently but here are some latest updates as of this afternoon:

For PlayStation 3 users, a PlayStation Network server issue was detected that was limiting the amount of possible concurrent users. This was preventing most players from accessing GTA Online altogether and as of this morning, that problem was resolved.


There is an issue that is preventing some players from getting through the first tutorial mission across both platforms. Many players have been able to get through this with repeated retries, and we are working on unblocking this for everyone as soon as possible.


This morning, we experienced some instability across the GTA Online services which is affecting even people who have progressed beyond the tutorial mission. We are identifying these issues now and are working to restore stability for users as soon as possible.


For the time being and until we have been able to get everybody access to GTA Online and things are running smoothly, we have disabled the option of purchasable GTA$ cash packs. Players can however keep on earning GTA$ by pulling off Jobs and other profitable gameplay activities rather than purchasing cash packs.

All of these initial technical issues will be ironed out as soon as we can. Please know that the entire team here at Rockstar and all of our relevant partners are and will continue to be working around the clock to get the experience to be as smooth as possible, as soon as possible.

This is the best place to get direct technical help and we are constantly looking at the most commonly reported issues there to resolve.

character creation sucks.

mine looks like bringer... idk how the fck i managed to do that.

Yesterday i managed to play quite a bit and get to rank 8 with very few problems getting online. But today i simply cannot play, the two times i tried earlier i just couldnt connect and i recently managed to get online but my character does not look the same, his stats changed(all stats are 0 aside from driving) and he does not have money anymore.


Oh well, i guess it will take rockstar a few days to get the major problems sorted out.

I had a level 8 character deleted yesterday, but your money always carries over so didn't mind starting again today and getting to level 7 (servers have worked well for me).

Having a lot of fun! Best part was when I got put in a 2 vs 1 Last Man Standing and ended up winning haha.

Second best moment was when some clown was chasing me across Los Santos for 20 mins trying to kill me. I wouldn't have minded but I had 10k in cash on me. Anyways I got sick of running so dived out of my car and watched as a Jeep came plowing towards me. I thought for certain I was going to die but I managed to fire of one round of my shotgun and killed the clown with one shot haha. Took his money and his car

Me and Natas played for about 2 hours last night.. some of the best gaming fun Ive ever had.

At one point I was trying to figure out how to get into the impound, and some dude starts a street fight with me, I wasnt prepared for it so he was kicking my ass, Natas jumps out of his car and starts cappin the **** out of him

Not too mention the 4 star run from the cops in a semi in blaine county with the both of us

**** was too much fun.

How the **** do you do Hesist?

All the jobs are death matches or team vs team...

Ok, you need to own a nicer property to start a heist, because they come with a planning room.. which I now remember being talked about.




MEAT, You need to get online, we need 3-4 people in our crew so we can do a heist and nobody gets ****ed over.

That **** was fun as hell REED. We gotta get our mic's set up tonight, texting wasn't cutting it haha.

We gotta focus on making some money so we can buy property. I got some friends I can invite for a heist when the time comes if the boxingscene crew is slacking

Btw, i think since you have insurance for your car that's how u get it out of the impound. Not sure though
