Does anyone want to explain why Floyd fighting on a smaller network will bring more eyes to the sport? Sure they might use CBS as an advertising channel but unless he's fighting on CBS it means nothing.

He's Floyd's advisor, what else would you have him to say?

You seriously need to change your avatar. Pacquaio will be remembered more for getting knocked the fuck out by Marquez than anything else he has accomplished in his career!

This is my exact thoughts. I keep hearing how this is good for boxing. How? His fights will still be on ppv. Does it really matter which network Floyd fights on?

For Floyd its all about money. I'm a Floyd fan and i love watching him fight but he's 36 so how can he fight so many fights? His skills are already on the decline and would be great to see him fight 2 or maybe 3 more rights but thats it.

Actually it means a lot. If they do the "All access" thing on CBS you can expect a lot of casual and even non boxing fans will be reached. Remember what the 24/7 series did for the Floyd/DLH fight. Those series might be getting old for us boxing fans who will watch the fight anyway but the reach of CBS/Showtime is a big thing. All they needed was someone who could maximize its potential and who better than Floyd.

Expect the "Money" alter ego to be at full force from now on. This is actually quite a big thing for the sport if he can manage to stay around for at least 3 of the proposed 6 fights.
