that's your evidence that Haye is better than Byrd?

that gif is very amusing, in that it smacks of desperation to make Haye's performance in that fight appear much more credit-worthy than it was. some fellow should string together some clips of Byrd making Wlad miss, hitting Wlad's body and landing his jab. ta-da! Byrd will look great.

your hanging your hat on Haye landing a couple of hard, lunging, desperate punches reminds me that Haye's supporters said he only had to touch Wlad once to put him down and out. i guess Haye's punch is overrated.

Byrd and Haye both were dominated (Byrd was past his best and had been quite inactive prior to his second fight with Wlad). all Haye did for the vast majority of his opportunity was dodge. notwithstanding a small few desperate lunges, he showed no ability to combine his extreme evasiveness that night with offense, let alone in any fluid, cohesive fashion.

Byrd fought against naturally bigger men almost all his career, has a better set of boxing skills than Haye and a better heavyweight resume. he's better than Haye.

wladimir doesn't have any great wins. he's in an awful era. that said, he's put together a string of opponents that will udboubtedly get him in to the hall of fame.

he'll also crack a lot of top 20 HW lists. probably most of them, actually, after this is all over.

the best fighter he beat was chris byrd.
