  • If the Klitschkos Fought in the 90s.

How would Wlad and Vitali have done in the era of prime Holyfield, prime Bowe, prime Lewis, old George Foreman, etc? Would they have been as successful as they are now?

They wasn't prime back then but if we're talking the current Wlad and the Vitali of old they would of done very well.

    Lewis would be competitive/perhaps win.
Old George and a prime Holyfield, both lose IMO
Prime Bowe losses and probably gets stopped.

You'd give glass-chin Morrison a punchers chance but he losses 99 times out of 100 by K.O

Morrison's face would look like raw hamburger by the 5th round. Total mismatch.

The 90s would be too tough for Wlad he would get knocked out left and right. Vital is tough though he only loss from cuts to Lewis and a shoulder injury. Vs bryd. He was winning. Vitali is live vs anybody in the 90s because big tough and comes to fight. He'd lose competitive decisions to holyfield and bowe. Not sure if he could go punch vs punch with Tyson or Foreman but would be fun while it lasts.

                Not world champions, but contenders.

                Bowe beats them both.
                Holyfield beats them both.
                Lennox beats them both.
Old George beats Wlad, but loses to Vitali.
Tyson beats Wlad, but loses to Vitali.

Wlad had a long, drawn-out confidence building process to get to his spot today. I'm not sure that would work for him in the 90s, so he's sort of a question mark. He'd probably be top five though, not including Vitali.

I'd expect Vitali to only be behind Lewis if he had no serious injuries.

Anything past 93' Bowe is not beating either Klitschko in their prime, Bowe's getting hella over rated if you think he can beat both of the Klitschko's in the shape he was in mid - late 90s..

Lennox beats them both at any time, they both give tough fights too the other Heavies and remain contenders through the decade.

Probably pick up a title between them but I don't really see them beating Lewis who is the biggest obstacle too them being 'champions'.
