  • There once was a man named Marciano
whose punch was a falling piano.
    He fought with the best
    and laid them to rest
    like Tony Soprano.

    • Earnie shavers is first. Ali fought both him and foreman and placed shavers higher. Ron Lyle, Sonny Liston, Marciano, Choynksi and Fitzsimmons. Last two are p4p hardest ever. I rate them above Julian jackson, g man, nigel benn, golovkin etc. Whoever is on the p4p hardest. Choynski and Fitz were around the same weight as the others I've mentioned, minus the weight cutting in the modern era and punched ridiculously hard according to the heavyweights they fought like Jack Johnson, Jim jeffries who were the true HWs at the time (200+ pounds in fight shape. John L also was around 200 when he fought Corbett but was clearly past his best when he lost the title)
