Is John Stones good enough for City?

I honestly think if he was to leave City he'd end halfway down the league at best. Who wants a defender who can't defend.

If he reminds me of anyone it is Franck Leboef. So maybe top 8.

Then again, I played fullback not center back but still. John Stones lacks defensive instinct. He has athleticism but he has no feel for actually defending.

Can you imagine what John Stones would have been doing against Sutton United. He'd be trying to nutmeg them in his own 6 yard line.

Stones is the only player in football who will get praised for launching the ball out of play when he actually decides to do it.

Stones is a nice enough footballer but who decided he was a centre half? They're a genius whoever they are because it convinced Citeh to spend 50 million quid on him just because he can pass forward quite nicely.
