where it was discussed what is and isn't part of the alt right. Breitbart is not part of the alt right although from what I understand they don't censor their comments so there are probably alt right people who post comments there.

If anyone is simple minded enough to be pursuaded by a public figure; political commentator, athlete, or hollywood figure then they shouldn't be allowed to vote.

You also have to take onto consideration that a lot of people who are Alt-Right, and were in the thick of it all, are now distancing themselves from the term, because of the negative views that come along with it, mainly due to Richard Spencer the openly racist white nationalist got a lot of press, and other negative views. So you can imagine if you have a political career, or any kind of career in the spotlight, you're probably not going to want to be associated with that kind of hatred, so there is a lot of pushing away right now.
At the end of the day, the ALT-RIGHT was a far right group of people who opposed immigration and strongly agreed on many other things while opposing the traditional right wing Republicans that have been in the whitehouse.
As far as Breitbart goes, Steve Bannon referred to Breitbart News as "the platform for the alt-right." They were leading the charge. Now, again there is some disagreement and some distancing but that almost entirely has to do with the section that are white nationalists and not afraid to say it vs those who aren't or just don't want to admit it (because of what that can mean for their careers).Last edited by ИATAS; 02-22-2017, 11:20 PM.
