I think the conspiracy theory floating around that he was snuck out isn't plausible, however the conspiracy theory that he was taken out -- that to me doesn't seem out of the realm of possibility at all. The guy had a ton of connections with a lot of powerful people.

they could have easily smuggled him out

Neither would surprise me. This was/is a very deeply connected sociopath at it a long time & always off the hook, though. I don't believe he was so determined to kill himself that he managed it in a facility with a very low suicide success rate before even going to trial when he was already being offered reduced sentencing.

Back in the day Epstein's Zorro Trust "won" a 30 million dollar lottery jackpot after a "television malfunction" occurred and they instead drew the winning numbers privately. Whew what a lucky guy...
