That's cool because Floyed doesn't "run" in fights.

Please, make this fight happen already. Its too big not to happen.

Anyone who knows boxing knows when you fight a great counter puncher your punch output gets cut in half....boxing 101

        Is Floyd younger than Manny?

Pac would look like he didn against Clottey with lotta missed/blocked punches...only thing is that Mayweather will hit back, with that overhand right. Its crazy too cuz Mays weakness is a southpaw staright left which pac throws, and pacs weakness is those overhand rights/straight rights that May is great at.

Both are the fastest n most accurate fighters. It may end like how May-Hatton did, bUT Mayweather will def get lit up. U dont beat pac without a bloody nose or swollen face and that is why May has been reluctant to go through hell

I've always thought the longer the fight takes to get made the greater the edge to May.

May has great speed and stamina, but his craft doesn't revolve around it. Manny's does.

Obviously not but Floyd is a lot more fresh than Manny that's for sure. There's a reason why Floyd looks so good at his age, he doesn't take a lot of shots and rarely does he take a clean shot, he eats clean and doesn't drink.

it's safe to say Floyd has younger legs, has less fights, less wars if any and add to his early retirement and lay offs...Floyd is much fresher than Manny.

It's a good time for May to fight Pac.

Pacquiao's punch output is not there against counterpunchers, it's only there against stationary targets.

In the Marquez III fight, he threw a mere 578 punches.

As opposed to 790 in the Rios fight, 1,069 in the Margarito fight, 1,231 in the Clottey fight, and 780 in the Cotto fight. Against Bradley it was weird, Bradley didn't held Pacquao's workrate down, instead he out threw Pacquiao 839 to 751.

                Against Marquez:

                2004 - 639
                2008 - 619
                2011 - 578
2012 - 256 in 6 rounds, on that pace he would have thrown a little over 500 punches.

Showing that counterpunching keeps workrates down. This is also very evident in Hopkins fights when he faces supposed active fighters. It goes without saying that Mayweather is the master of making fighters work on his pace, he always keeps fighters at around 450-550 punches.

There's a reason he has to throw that many shots against guys like Maragrito and Clottey.

So he doesn't get trapped in the corner, and ran over.

How is this a knock on Manny?

Why didn't Cotto just throw a million punches and do the same thing to them?
