LOTR VS Harry Potter... which is better?

Which one do you prefer and why?

Love LOTR, just starting HP film 1 now. Let's see what the hype is all about!

Of course I hear the books are both superb, however I have really bad concentration so find it difficult to read a whole book.

I'm a huge fan of the trilogy.

They stuck to the book well and are so detailed in many of the scenes. It's just an awesome movie. Well done to Mr Jackson. you checked up on the early reviews for The Hobbit?

Not looking too good. Too long according to many. Though, the effects in 3D and overall action have been given a thumbs up.

I've seen them all. It's not a **** movie (IMO) but it ain't no LOTR.

thats a problem with peter jackson's style...

he loves to lengthen ****... for the geek side of us thats fine... but for the rest its hit or miss...

i wouldnt even Compare that walkathon to Harry Potter..

Not even close, all 8 Potter movies are Awesome, older fans will always choose LOTR obviously and it has cool special effects etc Potter films are just that...Better Filming and i wouldnt even question this..

None of u guys have seen probably more than one Potter Movie and even if u did it was years ago anyways, Potter series is probably The Greatest Franchise of all time, i know how u guys hate me for saying that but its true..
