  • Comments Thread For: Jermall Charlo-Brandon Adams on 6/15 or 6/8, on Showtime

"The Contender" has secured his title shot. BoxingScene.com has confirmed through multiple sources that Brandon Adams has agreed to contractual terms to challenge WBC interim middleweight champion Jermall Charlo in his next fight. Showtime will televise the Charlo-Adams match either June 15 or June 8, perhaps from Charlo's hometown of Houston.

Did Korobov shake Charlo so bad he needs a tune up? Because that's exactly what Adams is.

I don't understand why PBC moves its fighters back and forth from FOX to Showtime. It seems like it would be more logical to take half the fighters, keep them on FOX exclusively and keep the other half on Showtime exclusively.

Charlo should step it up and fight the guys like Jacobs and Andrade have been fighting.

Guys like Luis Arias, 12 fights Dervaychenko, Artur Akavov, 30th ranked Walter Kautondokwa, Billi Godoy. LOL. Those were “supposedly” all good fights when Andrade and Jacobs fought them

            He should be rematching Korobov.

And people say Crawford has no one to fight at welterweight. Charlos middleweight run is utter garbage. His opponents make Amir Khan Benavidez and Jeff Horn look like elite fighters. Charlo doesn’t have one for her champ under his belt at 160 smh

Another mismatch provided to you by PBC. I liked it better when these guys were under Golden Boy.

The Russian Korobov must have scared Charlo to make him want to fight another tune up. Pretty soon it will be tune up gone wrong.

Same reason the Golden State Warriors play on TNT one week, ESPN another and ABC in the Finals.

And what reason is that? It seems like Charlo could build his fanbase better if he was just fighting on one network.
