  • New York, New York - Travel advice

One of my New Year's resolutions is to travel the world some more.

Always wanted to do New York and ideally take in a fight at MSG or Barclays Center.

Any advice on best places to stay etc? Somewhere not too expensive but not out of the way of all the attractions either.

Must be a few New Yorkers about

if you see a guy living inside a refrigerator box and there's a bunch empty beer cans in his front yard (the sidewalk) he's probably hungry...
buy him some chicken nuggets for lunch, that's my homie Derranged...
he smells but he's a good guy.

i went to a fight at barclays. it's a good venue for boxing.

i'm trying to remember the name of my hotel. it was in manhattan, as i couldn't get a decent room in brooklyn.

just bring your wallet, dawg. nothing is cheap in NYC. the food, services, etc are all top notch.

I went with my wife. I stayed at the Hilton on 5th ave. Took the subway everywhere. In 2 days I went to Yankee Stadium, Central Park, Ellis Island, Statue of Liberty, Empire State building, MSG, Time Square and walked 5th ave. I took the cab once to see how it was.
